New selection of collections at the Christian Dior museum in Granville

Making Christian Dior's childhood home a museum dedicated to the work and life of the couturier and consecrating his hometown as the determining source of inspiration for a personal journey, such is the goal of this museum. From Granville to America via Paris or London, Christian Dior has left his mark on the places he has visited, just as much as they have shaped him. The carefree years spent in Granville were founding and forged the characteristic features of the man and the creator that Christian Dior became in Paris. The house he established there became a center of attraction to the point that his name was soon synonymous with the elegance of Paris throughout the world. Three stops, spread over the three levels of the villa, tell the story of this journey and bear witness to the creativity of the couturier influenced by his childhood in Granville.
Exhibition “Christian Dior, visionary couturier”, until November 3, 2024. Christian Dior Museum. Villa les Rhumbs. Rue d’Estouteville. 50400 Granville.
